Are tea drinkers on to the secret of L-theanine?
Recent research suggests that L-theanine, an amino acid found in tea, can calm anxiety during stressful times. 
It can calm anxiety, but can also increase attention and is being researched for ADHD use.
The amount of L-theanine can vary in different teas, but can be found in matcha, black or green tea.
Please note that brewing time can affect the amount of L theanine in a cup of tea (longer=more), but many tea leaves also contain caffeine.

Matcha has approximately 45-50mg per cup of tea.
Black tea has approximately 25mg per cup of tea.
Green tea has approximately 8-10mg per cup of tea.
Supplements: 100mg dosage standard (research study used 200mg)
